What Can I write after this
last french concert of the 2005-2006-2007 Tour ?
The Stones had not played in Lyon for 25 years, and they were on fire !
The approx. 30,000 people who came to the show saw something really
extraordinary happening on stage yesterday evening.
The band was really focused
and enjoying being there, and the sound was marvellous.
She's So Cold opened the
section of the show where the band uses to change most songs from one show
to another, followed by an excellent version of Bitch
and Monkey Man.
Then they band slowed down a
little bit with an astonishing rendition of
Let It Bleed.
When time came for Keith to play his set, he decided to treat the audience
with a very moving version of You Got The
Silver. He did NOT take a guitar, leaving the musical part
to Ronnie and Blondie Chaplin, and focusing on his vocal performance.
Then came Wanna Hold You, Miss
You, and Rough Justice,
which in my opinion sounds much better on the B stage than Satisfaction.
Get
Off Of My Cloud was the last surprise of the show, but by
far not the last great moment !!!
Mick even went back running to the B stage during the encore to salute a
fantastic audience, which played an important part in a great show. |
