Almost 4 years after my 1st Oasis concert I was lucky to get a ticket for the french stop of the club tour they are doing in order to promote the relase of their latetest CD, Don't believe the truth.

This time Oasis was the headliner, and the opening act was a young band called The Stands. Their 30-min. set went along very nicely, and the audience's response to their songs was pretty positive.

Oasis started their show at 9:00 PM.
The sound was loud, but very clear, which was a big improvement compared to what I heard in 2001. The band was in excellent mood and playing very well. Noel and Liam were perfect, even if Noel was hardly audible at the begining of his 1st song. Zak Starkey is a way better drummer than his father Ringo Starr.
Lyla, the new album's single was really great. No doubt their new CD will be one of the bests of their discography, the songs are sounding very good performed live.

Liam and Noel showed a good sense of humour, and they even complimented the crowd.
A stupid fan jumped from the balcony, and I really hope nobody standing below the balcony got hurt. This is the silliest thing I ever saw.

Liam even called us "Crazy French People".
The setlist was great, and the band treated us with great versions of
Mucky Fingers and Rock'n'Roll Star.
My big pleasure was to hear
Wonderwall, which Noel didn't want to play for years.
The last song was a really loud rendition of
My Generation, a song from the Who (the band Zak Starkey played drums for last year)
